Meridian, Idaho is a city in Ada County, Idaho. It is the second-largest city in Idaho, with a population of over 100,000 people.
Meridian has been ranked among the best places to live in America by Forbes and Money Magazine because of its good schools and low crime rates.
Meridian is home to many popular shopping destinations, including Costco, Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, and many more.
Below Are 9 Things To Do In Meridan Idaho:
#1. Settlers Park
Settler’s Park is a great park for the family or even just going solo.
There are six baseball diamonds that are used by the Idaho Little League and also the Senior Softball League.
And there are many different options for outdoor activities such as walking or walking your dog.
#2. Wahooz Family Fun Zone
Wahooz Family Fun Zone is fun for kids and adults.
It gets very busy during the summer months so make sure to arrive early.
Wahooz was there to clean up after our guests, and they also had sanitization stations available.
The water park is clean with friendly staff.
The prices of food were affordable, the quality was good and there were also plenty of hardworking employees.
If you enjoy fun in the sun you got to put this on your list of things to do in Meridian Idaho.
#3. Pinz Bowling Center
If you love tacos and who doesn’t get your hands on the fantastic street tacos, pizza, and dessert choices were yummy!
I found something grossss on the door of the bathroom and the Staff went in and fixed it immediately.
Bowling can be a lot of fun even if you are bad at it like myself ; )
I recommend this place!
#4. Slanted Rock Brewing Company
I’ve only been to the tasting room of slanted rock brewery once and can say in my opinion they have great beer.
For those who visit breweries for the beer, this place is worth checking out.
Guests can enjoy a selection of beer while they’re at this pub, but it’s not served with any food.
I heard the location isn’t great, but I’m not sure why they chose it. It might have just been their best option given the budgetary constraints.
Overall a good place to get beer and worth the visit.
#5. Majestic Cinema
This is a theater where you can earn free movies and things like that with membership.
Even though it’s located in a small town it gives you a big city feel.
You will enjoy the food selection and cleanliness of the theater.
If you’re in the mood to catch a movie this is the place to be.
#6. The Banbury Golf Club
This is a great public golf course.
Challenging for sure, but it’s nice to know that there are so many people of all skill levels joining in the fun.
The bar is also great and the staff is lovely.
It can be a bit weird when they do a lot of weddings here because you can tell they’re focused on that.
The course is walkable with beautiful scenery.
There’s an automated driving range for you to use at all hours of the day.
A large practice putting green and nice chipping green is also available to use for practice.
#7. Meridian Speedway
This place is fun even if watching a car race isn’t your thing you will enjoy the experience.
It’s exciting to come out and watch the local visitor drivers race and it can also be a fun place to take the family.
It can get crazy but that’s part of the fun!
The food is good and you won’t feel crowded because there is plenty of room to stand.
My recommendation if you visit is to bring earplugs because it’s super loud.
#8. The Growler Guys
The variety of beers at The Growler Guys is great you are sure to find a beer selection just right for you.
Get some testers before deciding which one you like the best that’s what I like to do so I know what I like best.
The only downside is that they don’t serve any food at this time however that may change later.
The drinks are inexpensive, also you can buy a canned beer from their own canning machine.
A fun place to get drinks the only thing missing is the food.
#9. Children’s Museum of Idaho
This is a really fun place with so many interesting exhibits!
I’ve been to many places and I’ve never seen the exhibits like this before.
It’s an excellent way to gain knowledge about the region’s history and its inhabitants.
They are also home to a variety of beautiful aquariums as well as stuffed animals.
Their prices are pretty reasonable (especially for AAA members!).
